doublezero literally just happened
Vulnerable thing for me to say: crypto finally feels a lot less grifty than when I started in 2021 full-time.
The part of crypto that spoke to me then was the open financial system and the ability for anyone to make money (e.g @AxieInfinity really pulled me into crypto - RIP)
It's made me sad that instead in the last few years we had a ton of grift, speculation, meme coin trading and speculation.
I'm glad crypto is finally shifting to more real use cases: prediction markets, payments, stablecoin yield, payments, frontend fintech app for anyone, etc.
I'd argue crypto is becoming more "boring" but is finally shifting towards next-gen finance that is open and that anyone can access.
Let's keep making crypto real.
