Datavault AI Signs LOI to Acquire NYIAX, Integrates Blockchain Trading Platform

Datavault AI Inc. (Nasdaq: $DVLT) said Monday it has signed a letter of intent to acquire NYIAX Inc., a blockchain powered trading platform with operations in the U.S., Europe and Dubai, aiming to bolster its exchange infrastructure and data-monetisation capabilities.

Under the non-binding LOI, Datavault AI will bring NYIAX’s patented technology, marketing-as-a-service unit and trading platform for data assets — built on blockchain — under its umbrella. The acquisition is contingent on Nasdaq approval and execution of a definitive agreement, with the transaction expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.

The move builds on a prior licensing deal between the two companies, in which Datavault licensed NYIAX its patented ADIO ultrasonic advertising and data monetisation framework. With NYIAX fully integrated, Datavault AI said it plans to launch three new exchanges: the International Elements Exchange (IEE), International NIL Exchange, and American Political Exchange (APE) within the next two quarters.

Analysts note that combining NYIAX’s blockchain-trading infrastructure with Datavault AI’s data valuation and AI frameworks positions the company to expand beyond advertising into broader tokenised data markets.

Datavault AI shares are trading down 12.35 percent at US$1.67.
