They were the go to for ordinals during that massive heyday (it’ll be back, so @opensea I hope you’re going to announce support) Then they launched their token and it appeared as if when staff reached vesting, they headed for the exits. Then they just doubled down on staking and focused prob a little too much on $ME when in fact, no one cares about most tokens past an 8 week cycle at most. Even generous staking rewards didn’t do it. Opensea literally arrived like the Flying Dutchman thru the fog and dangling treasure, they scooped up attention. Will be interesting to see where we go from here.
the club has been a genuinely important part of my web3 journey. i still remember buying #3987 back in 2021 and used him for years as my digital identity. absolutely thrilled to welcome apes back home to opensea. 🌊 🤝 🍌
